Friends,
Spring officially arrived yesterday (because as we all know, nature abides strictly to the human calendar).
Yesterday at Pathways to Presence we each shared our intentions for the coming season 🌱
It was beautiful to be part of a shared ritual.
Many of us have been moving through a challenging winter and I sense some real optimism about the possibility of renewal in the coming months.
With that in mind, we have some exciting announcements for The Heart Space, with 2 new regular events starting this week and 2 upcoming workshops ❤️🔥
Body Intelligence
In this weekly event on Thursdays at 6pm, we’ll go deeper into the body through meditation and somatic inquiry to connect with the felt sense.
What does all that jargon mean? 🙊 Well…
Ever felt emotionally numb and unable to explain what’s going on?
Or perhaps noticed the telltale signs of anxiety in your body but your mind has told you you’re fine?
And what about those times when your gut instinct told you to avoid a situation or a person but you overrode it and paid the consequences?
By tuning into the body’s intelligence you can understand your authentic wants, needs and boundaries.
You can discover your inner compass so you always have a sense of direction.
This will be a powerful experience for you.
Along my journey, connecting with the felt sense has had the most transformative impact on my life and has been fundamental to cultivating my intuition.
Dan and I can’t wait to share this with you!

Embodied Flow
A regular at Pathways to Presence and a dear friend of the community, we’re excited to announce that Lachlan Broughton with be running some new events at The Heart Space.
With an extensive background in yoga and dance and rich experience with breathwork and somatics, Lachlan is a fabulous facilitator.
We’re starting things off with Embodied Flow, which will be a weekly event on Sundays. It’s a movement and mindfulness practice that helps you connect more deeply with your body and inner experience.
It’s the perfect lead-in to Pathways to Presence.
Yoga helps prepare the body and mind by releasing physical tension and calming the nervous system, making it easier to maintain focus during meditation.

Exploring Archetypes Through Movement and Play
Another member of our community Rachel Dougherty will be leading a one-off workshop on Sunday 21st September 🫶
I’m super excited about this!
(OK you may be wondering at this point what am I not excited about 😂 I’m sorry, there’s just so much good stuff coming!)
Together in this workshop we’ll learn about, explore and play with archetypes and how they can help you connect to and develop aspects of yourself. This will include progressive movement and vocal activities.
For most of my life, I played it small, with a fear of showing up, being seen, and taking up space. I’ve been on a journey of integrating parts of myself that I’ve denied and I can’t wait for Rachel to facilitate some of this exploration for us as a group.
As she says in her own words: “Through Psychodrama training and my own experience in dance and theatre I have learnt how powerful using our bodies and voice can be in freeing us to speak our truth and discover hidden gems.”
